Q: What is your cancellation/tardy policy?
There are no refunds. If an appointment is cancelled at least 48 hours in advance, the total funds paid will be transfered to rescheduled date. The rescheduled date must be reschedule at least 3 months from the orgininal scheduled date. After 3 months from the original scheduled date, you are forfeiting your deposit.
Certain services such as kinky twists and Loc extensions require a deposit of $50 or more to set appointments.
The client must show up at the time shown on their styleseat confirmation email.
Life happens and if you have to cancel, just give me a notice of at least 48 hours. (For example: if your appointment is Thursday at 8:30am, please give contact me no later than Tuesday at 8:30am.
Regular short services can be set without a deposit. If an appointment is canceled without a 48 hour cancellation notice, the client will pay a $25 deposit going towards their next appointment when set.
If you are running behind, please give me a call. I may not be able to provide you your service if you arrive more than 25 minutes late. If a client is more than 25 minutes late, I have the right to cancel service. There are times that my schedule allows for a tardy appointment. My objective is to start on time for every client. For several years, I’ve noticed if a client is late, then all following clients are started late.
My promise is to always start on time. If I’m running behind, then I promise to give you a call at least 1 hour before your appointment.

Tardy for Loc Extensions & Kinky Twists

Q: What if I decide I don’t like my hair style?
As with any service there aren’t any refunds. The method that I take while doing hair for years, is to ask questions before and during the service. It is the client’s responsibility to let me know if they aren’t liking the style. I have a habit of handing the mirror over to my clients to ask if they are satisfied with the creative direction. Once the client walks out the door, they’ve excepted their service as “perfect.”
If the client would like any adjustments afterwards, they will pay a fee of $35/per hour to fix the style. I do understand that sometimes, braids may make someone feel too hot later after they’ve worn it. So because of this, this policy has been created. It serves as not a punishment, but as a reminder to take everything into consideration during the consultation.
This adjustment service is good from the day after service until 7 days later at midnight.
